  • This exhibition aims to provide a different narrative around refugees and migrants to the one often presented in politics and the media. Come and spend some time contemplating these high-quality photographs, and gain further insight into the lives of refugees and those who support them.

  • The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNCHR) estimates that at least 117.8 million people globally are forcibly displaced due to persecution, conflict, violence and human rights violations. That is the equivalent of 1 person in 70 around the world - with around one third of that number seeking safety over international borders.

  • Often, refugees have been met with hostility and mistrust; but there are also good news stories where they have been treated with the respect and compassion that all human beings deserve.
